VEJVODA’S INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF BANDS (WING INSTRUMENTS)
FESTIVAL VEJVODA ZBRASLAV IS HELD THE LAST WEEKEND IN SEPTEMBER EACH YEAR

I.
The Advertisers of the Festival are: Zbraslav Cultural Association with Jaromir Vejvodas sons – Josef, Jiri and Jaromir.

II.
Organizing Delegation, of the Festival is: OR-FEA a.s., Prague, Festival Organisational Office, Tesov 9, 110.00 Prague 1.

III.
Component of the Festival is: a Competition which is offered for small wind bands up to 25 players (excluding the conductor).
The bands are not classified into competitive achievements category, but they must enter/submit into competitions programme named composition: Time allowed 20 minutes for the piece.
At the start of the competition, each band is allowed a warm up session, which will not be judged, but time limit will be taken into account.

IV.
Applications can be submitted by no later that 15th of July of the current year.
Named specific compositions for combined playing will be sent after receiving application.
The bands will send their programme for competition in the form of controlled voices and in duplicate, made out to OR – FEA a.s. not later than 15th August.

V.
The panel of judges is appointed by festival organisers. The results of the competitions will be announced (without declaring the points) by the panel at the end of the competitions. The competitors will receive from individual judges, a written assessment in the form of evaluation list. The decision of judges is final.
Laureatte competitive overseeing has responsibility to safeguarding the travelling cup, until the next year’s Festival and in the event, hand it to a new Winner.
The band which wins it 3 times in succession, will receive a new cup, inscribed “Three Times Winners” at the same time the three times band winners is offered the opportunity to enter the folk celebrations as honorary , at the following year’s festival.

VI.
Advisory competitions adjucation is determined by the Organisers.

Based on first preview will band's devided to
a/ golden area
b/ silver area
c/ bronze area

VIII.
EVALUATION OF THE COMPETITION
THE JUDGES WILL AWARD MARKS FOR THE FOLLOWING:
a) Teamwork
b) Dynamism
c) Rhythm
d) Harmony
e) Tone-quality
f) Individual performance
g) General impression as a whole, keeping within time-limit. Taking seats and leaving.

IX.
At the end of the Festival, when the results are announced, all the bands will join to play the same piece.

Jaromir Vejvoda /Vasek Zeman – Skoda Lasky, this is year compulsory.

X.
The Organisers will arrange the seating for the bands, but you must bring your own musical stands.
